There is no direct train between Roma and Berlin. You have to deal with 2 train companies. Trenitalia ( https://www.trenitalia.com/en.html ) for Roma to Bologna and Deutsche Bahn (www.bahn.de/en) from Bologna to München . See there respective sites for prices.

bahn.com MAY even offer 1 price-if they do, the SSp, as always on DB=supersparpreis will be lowest, vary by date and how long advance and will be much higher on days that all want to go. Also check nightjet. if wanting the overnite train B-ITaly.
