How many pairs of shoes do you take with you? What kind of shoes?
I'd also like to know where is the best place to keep your money; cash and credit cards.

In summer I usually take two pairs of sneakers with me, plus one pair of flip-flops.
I only take cash with me that I store in different places - sewn in in jeans or sweaters and in my moneybelt. You can also get small bags to put around your neck and wear under your clothes to store your passport, ticket and money/cards in.
