Hi!

To my knowledge you will get discounts on two ferry lines:

Larvik - Hirtshals (50% discount on day ferries, operated by Color Line)
Oslo - Kobenhavn (25% discount, operated by DFDS Seaways)

For exact fares and details please check on the relevant websites of the companies.

thx for the answer.
i think the most likley connection for interrailer is larvik-hirthals cause its cheaper as oslo-kopenhagen.
according the hompage:
larvik-hirthals/day 66€ per person normally price in summer
with the interrail ticket (-50%) = 33€

but this price is without guarantee.....i tried to book with onlinebooking
maybe its more expensive on the counter

Hi,
I am looking for a CHEAP ferry connection from Denmark to Norway or Sweden. I heared, that in the Interrail Pass the connection from Helsingor to Helsingborg is included. Is this also correct for the OneCountryPass?

Can you tell me what is cheaper? I planned to start my trip in Oslo, but this is not very important, i want to travel on to Stavanger the next day, so its also possible to go to lavrik. (I want to go by train the south railroad, because of the great landscape)

Thank you
Bya Marc

With both a Global Pass and the One Country Norway Pass you will get the following reductions:

Color Line

50% discount (not on cabins):

Hirtshals-Kristiansand
Hirtshals-Larvik (day sailings only)

DFDS Seaways

25% discount (Commodore Class):

Oslo - Copenhagen

Since I never travelled with any of the above ferries I cant provide details on the fares - please check at the relevant websites.

EDIT: For Helsingor - Helsingborg you need a Global Pass or a One Country Pass Denmark or Sweden.

Hi Marc.

Just check the websites of the ferry companies like Flow already mentioned.
