Hi,I am Malaysian.Did my InterRailing way back in 1983 during my student days in London.
It was one advanture I will always cherish though out my life.

My question is:
My son and a couple of his University mates, all aged under 26 decided to go interrailing next summer 2010.
I presume journey beings in Lon.Victory St.
From the info I gather, one could get a Euro Pass valid for a month, for those under 26/student ,(which he and his mates is)only if one resides anywhere in EEC within 6 months of residence, and he is not.
All are Malaysian passport holder and reside in Malaysia.

a) Do they still eligible for the under 26 Euro-Rail Youth ticket discount?
From my past Inter Rail experience back in the 80's,the validity stands for a month at all major European city.Does it still stands?
If he and his mates is not eligible for the Student/Youth discount becaused of the 6 months EEC residence status,is there any possibility of obtataing futher International Student Discount for the ticket.

b)what are the ticket prices for EuroRail Select Passs fare pleased?and what other alternative for their travel plan plsed?
I presumed the countries they plan to travel this summer would be the

UKingdom,Holland,France,Germany and Italy,connecting

London Victoria Station via Dover via Vook Van Holland via Rottedam via Amstadam via Achen(Germany) via Franfurt via Berlin via Muchen v Vienna via Bennoro(Italy) via Milan via Bologone via Perugia via Venice via Genova via Nice(South of France) via St.Tropez via Bordoex via Paris via Brussel via Ostend via London Victoria Station.

Thank You and best wishes and Happy New Year.

Hi WJ ...
Very nice to get a message from an Interrailer out of the 1980s ... :)
Right now the rule is that you need at least a 6 months residency in Europe (for Non-European passport holders only) - which you have to proof by official documents.
So your son and his friends can not travel by InterRail.
They need an EURAIL pass... as you asked for prices... I am only specialist for the InterRail ticket but have a look at the partner website and follow the links: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
All the best, Peter :)
