Information for Interrail, Eurail and point to point train tickets.
Overnight train connection from Venice (Italy) to Vienna (Austria). The direct night train is recommended.

Hi!
If i have an interrail ticket do i just pay 5 € to travel from Venice to Vienna? I mean how does it work while travelling between countries?

Hi.
Exactly. Go to a railway station in Austria (or as well in one of the neighbour countries) and ask for a InterRail discounted supplement for a seat in 2nd class in the night train mentioned above.
Then you will have to pay EUR 5 and that's it. :)
You need of course an InterRail GLOBAL Pass, not an ONE COUNTRY Pass.

Exactly.
Per person in a 6-bed couchette: EUR 25 if you have a valid InterRail pass. :)

Hi.
Are you traveling with a rail pass (Interrail or Eurail)? If yes, let me know your order-PNR by personal mail, so I can set your profile to PLUS. Thank you for supporting the information on railcc with your purchase. :)
Just follow the information given bellow the map here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-night-train/venice-vienna-en-236/97
