Hello,

are InterRail Passes valid on these trains in Sweden/Denmark border?

Öresundstag in Öresund Area, Denmark and southern Sweden

Pendeltag in Stockholm as what we know as S-Bahn in major German cities

Is my one country Sweden pass also valid on Öresundstag? Or do I have to pay extra if I go from Malmö to Copenhagen?

Hi!

It is certainly only valid on the Swedish part of Oresundstag - so you'll need a regular ticket for the part from Malmö Syd/Svagertorp to Kobenhavn...it's aboute 10€ one-way.

Are you sure?

I traveled from Copenhagen to Malmö With öresundståget and the staff counted my ticket as Valid for sure!

Was I lucky and they did a mistake or is flow wrong? Before I did so I asked at the SBB desk in Bern for a non reservation ticket from Copenhagen to Malmö and she said that I could take the regional train öreseundståget but not the x2000 from SJ(The worst train company I know) with my Global Pass without reservation!

Hi!

Yeah, with a Global pass you can use Oresundstag in both Denmark and Sweden without any problems. But if you are travelling on a One Country pass you can use Oresundstag only in the country where the pass is valid. ;)
