Hi there,

I know these questions get asked so much, but I really appreciate the advice!

I am a New Zealand passport holder but would have been living in the UK for the 6 months before our planned trip to Italy and Switzerland. Am I able to get an Interail pass given that I don't hold a Europe passport? Do the stamps in my passport 'prove' where I have been living? Do they check?

Or should I just buy a Eurail pass to be on the safe side?

Thanks so much,

Bex

Hi Bex ...

If you can proof your six months stay in the UK by a visa or residency permit, you can buy an InterRail ticket. It will be checked sometimes by the staff in the trains.
You can order your ticket already before your six months - only the departure date of the ticket needs the six months.
To get an official InterRail pass, go to [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux] , select the ticket you want, fill the forms, select as country of residence: UK
And as passport number the one of your Non-European passport.
That's it.

Have fun, Peter :)
