Hey,

A couple of people from uni are looking at doin interrail for the first time.. the route weve picked is;

Marakesh first day, up to Bunol in Spain for La Tomatista (big tomota fight) an then up through Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Amsterdam and Paris. We will be going for 16 days, an the last five are in paris so we will be getting the 10 in 22 ticket. i was just wondering whether this route is do-able, and whether £30 a day for everything (spends, hostel, food ect.) is realistic. as were going to La Tomatista we will be goin the last week in August 2010 an gettin back around the 6th of September. Any advice is a great help..

Thanks. :D

Hi,

I have allready made 3 times the interail trip .

-For spain, it doesn't cost a lot, 30 euros per day should be good fo Hostel + diner , but depends on your likes...
For Amsterdam, you should booked your hostel over now. Amsterdam is a very touristic city and the prices are folowing the demands..... for a day in Amsterdam, within the touristic meals you need 25-30 euros per day, hostel not calculed in .

- For Paris, the hostel are realy expensive, but there is a lot of good deals, just need to find it. with 30 euros per day without the hostel, you can have a diner at 15 euros , a lunch at around 10 euros and a drink in a cofee . If you want to visit musee, i think there is reduction for students since lat year. You can have an idea of the museum and expositions at the adress: paris.fr/portail/Culture/Portal.lut?page_id=144

If you need any other questions on Europe and much on East Europe, i'm here !!!

Enjoy your trip
