Hi everyone,
If I buy the ticket in Belgian even if I'm French, will I be seen as a Belgian during the whole trip ?? Will I be allowed to use the belgian trains ??
and the ticket is valid as soon as I buy the ticket or is it valid the day I first take the train ?
thanks

If you're french and get your ticket abroad, you'll always get a french Ir pass - thus you can use it in all IR countries except France.
You decide the starting day when purchasing the ticket - so you could buy the ticket in advance if you need/want to. Up until the last day before the day the ticket gets valid you also could exchange it if your plans have altered.

And if I take a month ticket and leave after 7pm the first day, do I lose a day or can I decide that the started day will be the second day ??
I saw that it worked with some tickets but does it also work for a month ticket ??
thanks

No, that doesn't work.
If you have a flexible pass and your starting day is ie 2nd of december you cant use a night train leaving on the 1st in the evening. If you want to do so, you will have to pay the regular fare for the night train until its first stop on the 2nd.
If you have a 22 days or 1 month ticket the 1900-rule doesnt exist and the same thing as above applies.
