Hi,

I'm a bit a novice at this (I've never done interrail before) and I'm not sure what reservations I have to make.

I'm looking to go from Hamburg to Bruges on the December 27th (27.12.09). I've purchased a a 5 in 10 InterRail pass covering this date, but a friend of mine has told me that for France I have to make reservations.

Here's the itinerary I'm hoping to follow:

Hamburg Hbf -> Köln Hbf : 27.12.09, 00:31 -> 06:14 (CNL40483 City Night Line)
Köln Hbf -> Paris Nord : 27.12.09, 07:44 -> 10:59 (THA 9416 Thalys)
Paris Nord -> Brugge : 27.12.09, 11:25 -> 13:54 (THA 9327 Thalys)

I tried to book this through [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] , but it told me it could only book the night-train, so I've now made a reservation on the CNL40483.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what's the best way to make the reservations for the Köln Hbf -> Brugge part of the journey? Is there a website which I can cheaply make the reservations using my InterRail pass?

Thank you :)

Andrew

You dont have to go via France resp. Paris to get from Köln to Bruges (the one in Belgium I think).

You dont even need another reservation when using the following connection (Note: :arr: The new schedules from 13.12 onwards are not completely available online yet, so the following times are from the current timetable. However, a similar connection almost definitely will be available after the timetable change as well).

Köln 0715 - 0807 Aachen
Aachen 0834 - 0927 Liège
Liège 1000 - 1202 Bruges
