Hello everyone !! (my frist post here :) )

What does 'country of residence' really mean? I'm Polish but living in France for more than a year now. I can get my certificate of residence here without any problems, but it's much more favourable to take the polish interrail as the French one would block my way to Spain and Portugal. Of course I'm a holder of Polish passport, so is it sufficient just to show it while buying the ticket?

Hi there,

I am in a similar situation. My passport is German but I live in Spain for 8 months now, what I can prove by the certificado de registro y mi numero de identidad de extranjeros. Can I choose the interrail ticket - Spanish or German? It would be more favourable to buy a Spanish one because I live near the border to France and I want to go to Eastern Europe crossing whole Germany on my way... and in general it`s more comfortable to buy a Spanish ticket in Spain than a German one,... :P But I wanted to know if it is valid with that knid of document and the N.I.E.. Thanks for your help!
