Hello! I have been searching the internet for many days in order to understand the following term for the rail passes: e.g.: 5 days within period af 10 days(5 in 10) Can anyone explain to me what this expression means, please? I guess that it means that in 10 days that you are abroad and the ticket has not expired you can use a train for 5 days to anywhere you want to go. Is it right??? :| Hope to get an answer... Thank you very much!!!

to make it clearer, it says: These Passes offer a number of travel days which can be chosen from the period of validity: Choose 5 travel days within a maximum period of 10 days or 10 days within a maximum period of 22 days.
OK, i choose 5 travel days within a maximum period of 10 days (5 in 10). After 5 days, the 5 travel days are gone. But the maximum period is 10 days. What do i have to do then? That's what makes my crazy.... :)

Yup.
The 5 in 10 global pass is valid 10 consecutive days, five of them can be used as travel days. You have to fill each of these travel days on the ticket before you board the first train on that day.
Same applies for the 10 in 22 global pass.
Similar system with one country passes: These are valid one month and you can choose between 3, 4, 6, 8 travel days.
1900-rule for night trains applies for both tickets.

Oh, thank you very very much flow!!! :P That means that after duration of 5 travel days (in the system of 5in10) i can have 5 more days but without the ability to travel by train (?)

Hi, im not a very good english speaker, so I couldnt find that I was looking for. If I buy One Country Pass for the period of 1 month and 4 travel days, are these 4 days consecutive. I mean if my ticket is valid from 01 of august till 31 of august, do I have to use my days like 02/08, 03/08/, 04/08, 05/08 or I can travel 02/08, 10/08, 15/08, 21/08? Thanks a lot!

Hi!
No, they dont have to be consecutive!
or I can travel 02/08, 10/08, 15/08, 21/08?
Yes, you could do so. You can fill in the travel dates while you are travelling. Only take care that you have to fill in each travel day before you board the first train on that day. :)
