Hello I am planning on travelling within Italy and France alone for a month starting on the 1st October and was wondering what ticket would be best to buy?
Don't know if there is a ticket that i can get which is within only 2 countries or should i buy two 1 country passes even though i will only be in each country for approx 2 weeks?
Would be really really grateful for any advice...Thank you Dani xxx :)

Where do you start/end your trip? And how do you intend to go there/get back home?

Buying two 8-days one country tickets for France and Italy would cost you almost 350€ - not much difference to the one month global pass that is 400€. So, depending on where you're from the global pass probably is the better option - however since you do not have to worry about travel days it is the more convient option anyway.

I will beginning in Nice staying with Friends for a week and then going to Italy, Rome-Florence-Venice-Milan and then going to Paris and then back to London. Dont know if it would just be worth gettign an interRail ticket for Italy adn then buying single tickets for France? What would you suggest? Thank you for getting back so wuick Dani xxx

Nice - Ventimiglia (french-italian border) is about 6€
Day and night trains Italy - Paris are all global price (and are called Artesia), have a look at http://www.artesia.eu/

Paris - London: Have a look at eurostar.com, they often have offers cheaper than the IR pass fare.

For Italy I'd get the suiting one country pass, but be aware that all long-distance trains require compulsory reservation.
