This summer I bought a 22 continuous pass to visit some amazing contries in Europe and it was really really nice all the jorney.
My route was : France - Belgium - Holand - Germany - Italy - Spain
It is great to meet a lot of different people from around the world, try different food, participate in things that make you feel immersed in a foreign culture (In Belgium I went to Mechelen stadium to watch a football match).
I loved to travel by train it's very comfortable but the regional that I took from Milan to Bergamo....was the worst train I have traveled so far.
And if you don't want to spend a lot of money do like I did....Couchsurf! :D
Really! Couchsurf is a great oportunity to meet a lot of people, make friends, cook for them (like I did xD), they can show you the place you're visiting or sometimes if you want to go alone or if they can't go with you they help by telling you the main sights or the most important things to do and see.
Looking forward for the next one or perhaps a longer trip but this time to southeast asia :D

Hej Ines...
Good to hear that... :)
For South-Eastern Asia I recommend you definitely Thailand - cheap and good to travel there by bagpack!! :)
They have as well a good and comfortable train system!!
I spent there already several European winters and can definitely recommend it.
Have fun and all the best, Peter :)
