I have been looking at trains and im finding it quite hard to get from berlin to munich unless i pay the supplement, just out of interest how much are these normally to be?

Hi ...

For the connection you do NOT need to pay a supplement!

The IC and ICE trains are FREE in Germany.
Germany is one of the best countries for InterRailers to travel free without any supplements, even not on high-speed-trains !!!
Other countries like for example Spain, Italy, France should have a look on Germany. As well night trains are extremely cheap and offer a very good service.

You have a direct connection from Berlin (starting 07:52h - then every 2 hours), or nearly all 30 minutes with one change. Travel time is about 6:30h.
