Hi.
All trains on the route Barcelona to Nice and reverse also stop in Marseilles. Just click the link above.
You will find connections listed there made by the railccs without extra fees.
If you want to plan it by yourself, use an electronic schedule planer: [ux]https://plan.rail.cc[/ux]
Think about crossing the Pyrenees by the Little Yellow Train (if you travel with a rail pass, you won\'t have to pay extra - it is free!): https://rail.cc/blog/little-yellow-train-video/

Hi,

I am looking into the Barcelona to Nice route for this summer. I have a few questions (sorry :P )

1) Will the timetable changes on June 12 likely to significantly change these routes: https://rail.cc/en/train/barcelona-to-nice

2) I would really like to take the Little Yellow Train because I have heard the views are spectacular. Which one of the routes on that page take it, or if not how could we incorporate it into the route.

4) Some of the routes have 5 minute transfer times at perpignan - is this too little.

Thank you so much :)

Hi!

1) Yes, it is possible. Probably there are some minor changes, but the regular timetable change is mid-december. But you can never tell, SNCF tends to amend their schedules at rather short notice so it is best to check at their website if you want to be 100% safe. We offer the railcc schedules as kind of guideline for travellers on what is the best way to travel on a certain route but cannot show neither all possible connections nor all minor changes that might occur.

2) None. The Petit Train Jaune runs from Latour de Carol to Villefranche, check here :arr: https://rail.cc/blog/little-yellow-train-video/

3) All connections shown are possible under normal circumstances but you never can predict delays etc... ;)

Please support railcc:
- buy your rail passes and tickets here on the recommended website: https://rail.shop/interrail
- add locations of your home-town (bars, nice places, ...)
Thank you! :)

Ahh thank you.

I think my best bet then is to take the Petit Train Jaune on my way down to barcelona after my night train (apparently down is more fun anyway :) )

Ill then do a more straightforward route without that train from Barcelona to Nice

Thanks :)

P.S. Thank you for the incredibly fast reply - Im going on my first Interrail this summer and I'm glad I found railcc :)

Yeah, that's a good option (as described in the blog post).

From July 7th there should be two daily TGV trains Barcelona - Marseille for which a reservation will be required but will be a good fast alternative to the route along the coast.
