I am currently looking into planning a month of inter railing next summer around Europe. Never done anything like it before so i figures its about time!
My route would be something like....
Start in Brussels and get short train to Amsterdam - Berlin - Prague (or Krakow in Poland) - Budapest (possibly onto Ljubljana in Slovenia) - Vienna - Salzburg - Zurich - Interlaken - Milan - Either down to Rome and Naples or go from Milan to nice and onto Monaco and finish up that way.
I plan on going to Croatia another year and spend a good while going round the islands
But ye just thought i would sure share my thinking! Do people think all these places are worth a visit or should i include some must see things? Also could there be a potential problem with any of these journeys? I think the only night train id be taking would be Prague to Budapest and then Budapest to Ljubljana if i went there.
Thanks
Peter

hej hej ...
there will be no problems with night train connections.
the route sounds nice... maybe skip Interlaken ... add definitely Krakow. I also like Zagreb.
For Nice/Monaco (Monaco isn't worth to stay) or Roma/Naples: for you to decide if you prefer Italy or France... both are nice.
Have fun planing... Peter :)
