Hi folks,
please, could anyone tell me how to book euronight trains? I need such a train from Munich to Budapest and tried it via the german [ux]https://rail.shop/bahn[/ux] , but couldn't find any way to book the reduced interrail-charge. Do I have to go to a DeutscheBahn-counter in Germany?
Thanks a lot!
best regards, isaach

Hi peter,
unfortunately, the way described for CNL-trains doesn't function with EN, because there's no Book only extra charge-button in the mask! In case I just overlooked it, my bad :)

hi...
I tested it for the train EN463:
München Hbf Dep: 2340
Budapest-Keleti pu Arr: 0854
and it worked without any problems. it seems you missed the button - it is on the left at the bottom beside the red one.

the session ended so I can not see your connection.
just give me the date and time you want to travel ... then we will find a way... to find this button ... :)

Hi peter,
yesterday, I booked a CNL-train, it worked out fine (-the button existed!). EN, however, doesn't work. The train I need: date - 3.09, time - 23:40.

hej ...
good that at least the CNL worked, but I tried it with the EN again - and again: no problem to book... :)
you have to chose always direct train with no changes, otherwise it won't work.
have a nice tour and all the best, Peter :)

Hi peter,
I solved the riddle! It didn't work, because I chose Budapest-Deli pu (insetead of Budapest-Keleti pu) which requires an additional regional train which is exactly why the button didn't appear. Thank you so much for your patience and the screenshot without which I'd still be puzzling!
From your experience, do you think it's necessary at all to book EN-trains ahead? I plan to travel on to Berlin but don't know yet the exact date.

so we found the problem ... online booking for night trains is only possible on direct connections... :)
mmmh... if you travel in September, you can book it 1-2 days in advance. it should be okay.
have fun, Peter :)
