Hello,

I'm french and I want to travel through Germany to Berlin and then to Praga. I spent 10 months in Portugal in the past year (Erasmus) and I have only returned to France for 2 months. My question is simple : can Portugal qualify as my residence country since I have spent less than 6 months in France ?

If this is possible, can my Erasmus documents be used as a proof of my stay in Lisbon and when do I have to present them ?

Thanks already!

Hi ...
Bad news: this is not possible as you spent already 2 months in France - and as you have as well a French passport, you have to buy a French InterRail Ticket. ||
The rule would only apply if you stayed 6 or more months in Portugal and directly after this 6 months you start with your tour from Portugal.
To cross France you can often find cheap offers of the SNCF (especially night trains) or as well some offers of CNL ( Omio ).

For your official Interrail pass: buy it here please if you want to support this forum: [ux]https://rail.shop/interrail[/ux]
