hi peter et al,

we are currently coming to the end our current interrail ticket, and about to head from Bulgaria through to albania and then up the coast, eventually heading back to Switzerland. My plan had always been to buy a second interrail ticket, but having realised how cheap travel is around this region we are trying to decide whether it is actually worth it. Our pass will run out in 4 days, which is perfect timing considering the amount of buses we will most likely have to use for this next stretch of our journey.

so my question is, from Mostar - Sarajevo - Zagreb - Ljubljana - Zurich, does anyone know if this would amount to more than the 140 pounds cost of the new pass?

don't get me wrong, its not that I don't want to interrail - i love it- but money is unfortunately the number one issue...

thanks
Angus

hi Angus ...
I think in Albania and then to Croatia along the coast you won't need an InterRail ticket - better to do by bus.
From Ljubljana to Zürich I suppose something around EUR 70 for an adult...
but I am not sure - just an experience...
Peter :)

Hmm, Mostar Sarajevo is cheap (and beautiful) by train but Zagreb - Ljub - Zurich could make it pretty close. TBH I dont think it will make too much difference, though maybe single tickets will just be cheaper
