Hello,

My family and I are traveling to Norway in May and are going to be traveling by train to Bergen from Oslo. We will be taking the day train on the way to Bergen, but would like to take the night train on the return from Bergen to Oslo. I see on the website you can purchase tickets for the train but there is no seat confirmation. I may have missed something, but I could not find where to purchase sleeper cabins/berthing space. We are a group of 5 and can all stay in one 6 person berthing room and I assume it will be a significantly higher price, but I cannot find this price anywhere on the website to buy tickets. I must be missing something. Could you please direct me to where I may purchase these overnight sleeper cabin tickets? Thank you so much in advance for your help!!
All the best,
Julie

Hi Julie!

The best think for you would be to directly book from the website of NSB (Norwegian Railway) at nsb.no
There you will find Minipris saver fare tickets for this route for which you can then buy sleeper supplements.
Booked in advance this would be available from about 4000 NOK in total (ticket plus sleeper supplement).

Please note that on night trains in Norway you only have seated accomodation or two bed sleeping compartments. If you are travelling in a group of five people you would have to book at least three cabins.
