Hi, my friend and I go interrailing for the first time tomorrow, so I know it's a little late to be asking this :)

We arrive in Amsterdam tomorrow and travel to Paris on Thursday and we are thinking that when we arrive in Amsterdam we will buy our train tickets Paris.
Then as soon as we arrive in Paris, we will buy our tickets to Nice for a few days later.
Is this a good idea, or would it be OK to just buy the tickets on the day of travel?

We have absolutely no experience of train travel in Europe :|

I'd advise to book them as soon as you get to one place then book the next one when you get to 1st place (Paris then when in Paris book for Nice when you arrive) as its the summer so they could possibly be full/sold. Which trains/times are you wishing to travel? Which Interrail pass do you have?
