Greeting!
First of all I must say that this forum is the army knife for interrailers!
I'm going on an Interrail this summer and I've found lots of useful information in here but some doubts still remain, especially regarding my travel route. While I don't want to visit many specific places, I wish to see as many things possible. Therefore, I'm not sure whether this route is possible to accomplish with the 22 days ticket I intend to buy:
LINK TIMED OUT
where the black line represents a path I definitely want to take and the green lines represent paths I want to take if there is time.
the red/blue lines represent to options from which I haven't decided, and if you could give me some advice on which to take it would be great ( knowing that I want to see the castle Neuschwanstein).
Finally two more things:
- How far in advace should I buy the ticket? I'll be leaving on the 9/10th of August...
- Is it really necessary to book hostels in advance? I don't want to be on a schedulle the whole time.... :|
Thanks in advance!

Thats a pretty busy route for 22 days, remember you are travelling quite large distances, and I would schedule at least 2 nights in each places in order to get a decent view of it.
You can buy the ticket anytime - but the easiest would be to buy it from this website, because you get guarenteed 24h delivery in the UK, and 48h in Europe.
Regarding hostels - in popular places, like paris and amsterdam, good hostels do get booked up (and are probably already booked up) But what I do is book the day before I arrive online, that way maximising my flexibility and guaranteeing that I dont turn up in a city with nowhere to stay...

Thanks for your reply SiDUDe
Regarding the route, I decided to take the red path and I'm already programming the trip in order to book some hostels in advance. Later on I'll post the program and I hope someone can give me some advice about it.
Cheers
