Hi guys,
Am planning a route for September - I've got the 1st part sorted in my head. I'm starting in Paris, then going to Munich, then Zagreb & bits of Croatia, then Ljubljana/Slovenia.
But it's coming back that I'm not sure about - I've got to end up in Paris again to catch my Eurostar back to London.
I'm thinking maybe a couple of days in Milan.
Anyone got any nice ideas for routes?
Thanks
K

hi ...
the best an cheapest way would be by night train:
Ljubljana to Venezia: https://rail.cc/en/budapest-venice-night-train/f1387
Ljubljana Dep: 0230 (train available from 0212)
Venezia Santa Lucia Arr: 0716
and then by regional trains to Milano... several possibilities during the day if you want to stay some hours in Venezia and see the tourist places.
examples for direct free regional trains:
Venezia Santa Lucia Dep: 1109
Milano Centrale Arr: 1445
Venezia Santa Lucia Dep: 1504
Milano Centrale Arr: 1835
Venezia Santa Lucia Dep: 1705
Milano Centrale Arr: 2040
Then the best way from Milano to Paris is by direct trains - it is fast and difficult to avoid on this route supplements.
either by day or night trains:
