Hello, I bought an Interrail pass 5 days in 10 and am planning to go to France in August. I´ve already bought some reservations for fast trains and also for the night train from Nice to Paris. The only reservation I didn´t make was the one from Marktredwitz to Nurnberg..in Germany. This train leaves in the morning and is in 1,5 hour in Nurnberg.

Do I need to go to the desk on the staiton and ask for any free ticket on my interrail pass?

Or do I just hop on the train, find myself a seat, wait for the conductor to show him my pass and enjoy my ride..? if yes -- does this work like that in every train..?

Thanks a lot for the answer.. bye :P

If you are travelling on trains without suppliments/reservation then you can just get on with your IR ticket and show that to the conductor
