Hi,

In a few days I'm going off traveling and I have one quick question which I would like to clear up, say if I'm traveling from Venice, Italy and want to get to Basel, Switzerland there are going to be a couple of change overs (usually at Milan and Brig), would I on my flexi-interrail ticket mark down on the travel report Venice to Basel or would I have to mark each separate Journey between change overs (I.e Venice - Milan, Milan - Brig, Brig - Basel) all under one day.

Also, for a train journey like this, I take it I go to the ticket office in Venice show them my interrail pass and say I want to go to Basel and pay the surcharge for the whole Journey there and then just show that ticket to each conductor on the way to Basel right?

Many thanks :)

- Travel report: You have to fill in every train

- Reservation: If there's a supplement to pay you will get a ticket for every single train you pay for: ie Venice - Milano by EurostarCity = one supplement ticket, Milano - Brig by Cisalpino = another supplement ticket etc
If you'd use a through train to Basel there'd be only one ticket.
