hi! We want to travel from milano to Barcelona, without paying a lot of money ti extra fees and supplements. The night train as i read is 45 euros . So, how can we go to avoid that train (which is more expensive than we expected :( ) ???

Well i found those connections :
Milano Centrale --->Geneve EC40
Geneve --->Toulouse-Matabiau NZ 4778
Toulouse-Matabiau--->Narbonne TGV 5301
Narbonne--->Barcelona Sants 463
Do you know for which of these trains do i have to pay a reservation or an anything extra?? Is that train NZ 4778 included in the interrail card??

All trains are included - but you have to pay a supplement on each of them.
The direct night train isn\'t a bad idea at all: You travel overnight - you can spend the whole day in Milan and arrive the next day early in Barcelona leaving you the whole day for a trip through the city.
It\'s expensive but if going during the day you have to pay a hostel night in Milan, get up early, sit all day in different trains, arrive late in Barcelona and have to pay another hostel night there...
Have a look at the different supplements here https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation and calculate by yourself. ;)

NZ stands for Nachtzug = night train. In this case (France) it's a Corail Téoz, the reclining seat is 2€, a couchette ~25€ (Corail Téoz) is listed in the supplement section on the website.

sorry if i am asking again but i cant understand how do i find the supplements for some trains. for example when it is an intrnational train (Marseille-Baziers 4766 or Narbone-Barcelona 463 ) how do i know if i have to pay something extra? In witch category are those trains? Also the EuroNight trains. (for example Milano-Dijon Ville EN220 ) ? https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route i am trying to find them in that site but i am a little bit confused :os
thanks a lot

If it says Compulsory reservation (or similar) the 4766 is a Corail Téoz, otherwise a Corail Intercités (without supplement).
The 463 is a Talgo.
The 220 is an Artesia.
Sorry, cant be more precise right now.
