Hello. i was just wondering if anyone would be able to help please? A good friend and I are starting Interrailing on the 12th August. We have paid for the month continuous! We plan on visiting most of Eastern Europe. However i was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on the following issues please:
1. How do you make reservations?
2. What are the added costs?
3. For example, we would like to use a night train service from Berlin to Krakow! Would this be possible with the ticket? How would we make the reservation and how much would the surcharge be?
Any other advice on any topic would be much appreciated!
Thank you in advance!

Hi!
For reservations, have a look here: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
:!: Best way to make reservations usually is directly at a train station of a larger town - you can make reservation for almost all trains in Europe at stations in continental Europe.
You can travel through whole Europe without any other costs than the ticket price - however certain trains, such as fast or high speed trains and night trains often require an additional supplement/reservation.
Info on trains requiring a supplement: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation
