hi, i'm going to be spending two days in Rome at the end of this month. I'm on a low budget so I need to find things to do/see that are free or very cheap. Anyone know any nice walks/parks/sightseeing - that kind of thing? Also if anyone knows of any bars that have free live music that would be amazing!
thanks :)

well all of the churches are obvious ones, but just wondering around the roman ruins is free and amazing. Cant help on the music though

is there a particular area you would reccommend or are they just all around the city?

I'd recommend the following:

Piazza San Pietro - Via del Conciliazone - Castel Sant' Angelo - Ponte S Angelo - Piazza Navona - Piazza Rotonda - Pantheon - Piazza Venezia/Monumento Vittorio Emanuele II - Capitolino/S. Maria in Arcacoeli/Piazza Campidoglio - Foro Romano - resting on Palatino between the ruins of Terme Sevenare - Circo Massimo - Colosseo - San Pietro in Vincoli - Piazza de Quirinale - Fontana di Trevi - Piazza di Spagna - Villa Medici/Villa Borghese

Probably enough for two days - just a rough route where you come along the most important sights.
