Hi

I will be travelling around central Europe on an Interrail pass in September and will be travelling on the Gornergrat railway. I noticed on their website that you get a 50% discount with a Swiss Pass but does anyone know if you get one with an Interrail Pass? Also would there be a supplement travelling from Brig to Zermatt even if it is not the Glacier Express?

You get the 50% discount on GGB (Gornergratbahn) with your InterRail pass.

As far as I know InterRail is valid only on the St. Moritz - Disentis section of Glacier Express, however you'll a get a discount on tickets to Zermatt if you have a youth pass. In addition you need a reservation for traveling with Glacier Express.

Brig - Zermatt is operated by MGB (Matterhorn Gotthard Bahn), you get a 50% discount with a youth pass - on regional trains there should be no furhter supplement. To save some money you could go from Brig to Visp with supplement-free SBB-operated IR train and change there to a MGB regional train to Zermatt.
