Hi everyone,

I'm currently planning an eastern europe trip with friends, starting from France by the end of July, but some new elements got into our plans...

So I'd like to know if there is any possibility of changing the dates of our tickets.
2 of us already bought them (10 days in 22), starting the 26th July, but we're now looking at the option of leaving the 2nd Augut.

Any experience of that kind of situation ?

I imagine asking in a train station would be the best, but I've been told that people in french train station don't know the interrail system at all...

Thanks for your help !

Hi Simon ...
It depends on where you bought the tickets?
Let me know and I will help you.
Sometimes you have to pay a fee (mostly 15% of the ticket price). You have to give your ticket back and get it refunded, then you have to buy a new one. So often it is cheaper to keep the old one, even you lose 1 or 2 days.
And for the French railway stations - it depends where you live - and definitely yes - I had a lot mails already this year concerning ticket problems at French railway stations. But maybe you have luck.
Peter :)

Thanks Peter,

We bought the tickets on internet, directly on the railpass website, and the option was more about moving the dates of an entire week.

Anyway, finally there will be no changes, best for us, But if anyone needs the information...

Thank you for your answer.
