Hi everyone,

I'm going to Praha in september, and i'm wondering if it's better to change money at my own bank, or to do that in Praha...

Is that really usefull to change money or shop/hostel/... take euro without problem?

If someone have an idea, thanks ;)

Last time I've been in Praha (Aug '08) € wasn't accepted, same situation Mar '09 in Plzen.

I'd recommend changing a basic amount of money at home and if you need some extra money to change in the relevant country. Try not to go to exchange shops around touristy places...or take a ATM card with you if your bank offers good conditions.

How much do you reckon is enough to take to the Czech per day, we'll be going to Prague and Cesky Krumlov.
