has enybody traveled from belgrade to thessaloniky with the night train? is it safe and confortable? any piece of advice before starting the trip? 10q and atb

I travelled to Skopje and I think the train goes that route and carries on to Greece. Nothing much to say, it will probably be late, and make sure you have the correct paperwork for the borders and dont try to smuggle 15 litres of spirits accross. I think we had dogs in the couchette at the Macedonian border.
Take plenty of water and foor and have a good time!
