:?: In Greece if u cant find a seat u can travel without one standing upright or seating on the floor. So what about the other countries? If i want a night train with a global pass, will i find a seat the same day or do i have to book in advance? :o

hi... if the train is full, you have to leave it - at least in Western Europe. especially if the train has only beds and no seats available.
better to book your bed some days in advance - but you can always ask the staff of the train for a free bed or seat. they sell the InterRail supplements directly.
