Hello
We are hoping to travel around Europe in September but are having a nightmare trying to ge any information. Our trip is as follows
Berlin - Krakow
Krakow - Budapest
Budapest - Croatia (any city)
Croatia - Florence
We want to get sleeper trains for the first 3 journeys and have been told there are supplements for booking and for sleeper trains, we will probably get a ferry from Croatia to Italy and then a train to Florence. A Interrail pass is £320 each but there is no info about how much the 'supplements' are. Would it be cheaper to buy train tickets separately than buy the pass AND THEN have to pay all the supplements - any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Well you have to pay the suppliments anyway, you just wont see them when buying normal tickets, but theyre there. Quite a lot of the suppliments are on this website if you have a look around, and remember there are lots of different types of IR passes, only one is £320. In general, if you use the pass to its maximum it will be cheaper

Like Simon said, you will also have to pay the supplements with on a normal single ticket - for the journey you plan, it is definitely cheaper by InterRail.
All supplements are listed here:
