It's a good idea...
And of course Macedonia is inviting you to come in Ohrid and enjoy in the great city with traditional history, and its beautiful nature... Do you know something about Ohrid lake (one of the oldest lakes) ?? You can discover the city and the lake .
You can arrive in Skopje (the capital city) by train... and with bus ( it cost aproximately 5 euro, and the trip is 2-3 hours) you can go to Ohrid... After that with bus you can go to nearest trail station in Greece and continue with Interrailing... Or if you don't want to visit Ohrid, and you want to visit Skopje and continue to Greece, then you can catch a train from Skopje to Thessaloniki :) ...
So don't forget our invitation...

P.S. We have a great beer, and it's very very cheap.
P.P.S. Also the sun is always smiling in Skopje and in Ohrid
