Split to Venice by train

Hi,

I am looking to get from Split to Venice.

Firstly what is the recommended easiest way?

Ferry to Ancona and train up? If so how much would the single train ticket from Ancona to Venice likely to be?

As my 10 days in 22 will have ran out, train from Split > Zagreb > Venice is going to be expensive? Correct?

Any help will be superb!

The ferry is definitely a fast option.

About the train ticket Ancona-Venice have a look at the trenitalia (Italian national railway company) website... should be something about EUR 19 when using a regional train via Bologna - you save a lot of money instead the super fast trains and only lose one hour (compared 4 to 5 hours length of your journey).
