Hello,

I am a Finn and living currently in Denmark. I have lived here only 4.5 months but I have lived outside of Finland more than 2 years. So am I eligible to buy a country pass to Finland? I was living 2 years outside of Europe before moving to Denmark this spring.

hi ...
you did not lived the last consecutive months outside of Europe (it was Denmark for 4,5 months), so you can not buy a Danish InterRail ticket as you did not live dthere - and you can not buy an EURAIL ticket (the one you need if you lived outside of Europe) as you did not lived the last six months outside of Europe.
you will get (and have to buy) a Finish InterRail ticket.
I don't know if you are student, but students get good discounts in Finland on rail travel... have a look at their website vr.fi
Peter :)

Hi,

Thanks Peter for your answer. Unfortunately I am not a student so have to pay full fare in Finland. So if I need to buy my ticket from Finland that would mean that I can by a one country ticket to Denmark :)
