We are travelling around Europe this summer for 22 days and this is the rough route we have came up with so far;
Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Berlin, Prauge, Vienna, Budapest, Zagreb, Munich, Zurich, Milan, Monaco.
Do you reckon this can be done in just over 3 weeks?
Any tips / advice anything would be very helpful!

Cheers , Josh

hi Josh ...
yes you can do this within 22 days... but you will have a lot to see ...
use the schedule planer for details: https://rail.cc/en/search-interrail-route
and to save time, use night trains - details are listed at the country topics of this forum .

personally I recommend to stay 2-3 nights in a city, just to get the feeling of it and not just rush trough the city - then it is boring after one week. better to stay more night and just check some bars, clubs or just nice parks to chill. :)
maybe mix Nice with Monaco - not far away and Nice is nicer to stay overnight. and don't forget about Ljubljana ... definitely worth to stay for two nights. :)

Peter :)

thanks for the reply.
yeh thats the rough sort of route we have at the moment but we will mix it up a bit and visit other places along the way if we can fit it all in!
yeh we are gona try use a few nights train, as you said it saves time and its a bit cheaper!
another question, how much money do you reckon you would need for this trip? doing it on the cheap-ish?
thanks again

you have to know yourself and do the calculation like this per day:

- food: EUR 8
- sleep: EUR 20
- beer: EUR 10
- extras: EUR 5

so you have ~ EUR 40 per day ... multiply with the travel days you have and that's the result... :)
