Hello I am planning my interrail but I have some questions that perhaps someone more experienced on that matter may help. My biggest afraid is, by mistake take a different train that we have the right to use with the ticket and them someone that manage the tickets force me to pay the price of the journey that I made in that train. It’s possible to do this mistake? Is there any easy way to distinguish the trains? By the way do anyone knows a site that give us the exact KM’s from the point A to the point B?

Best regards

hi Tiago ...
It is possible to jump in a train with a supplement - but only if you are blind in one eye. ;)
You always see the small, old trains - these are regional trains.
Then there are the stylish new big trains = high speed trains. There aren't so much at stations at the same time. So will see if it is a TGV, ICE or whatever. And you know before if you have to take a supplement or not (just check it here at the website) - if you have doubts, ask the staff at the doors of the train. So relax ... easy to do. :)
The exact kilometers... I can't give you a link. ||

And as Peter said relax about the trains, usually there are monitors etc at the platforms indicating the type of train. You could check as well on the internet what the different high speed train look like. There is usually an emblem on the trains that makes it easy to distinguish them from other trains. ;)

I really appreciate the quick response on my question. I manage to get some maps that gave me what I wanted and more. I have so many questions right now but I’m sure that I will answer to myself on the trip.
