Interrail: confused over train schedules Amsterdam-Paris

Hi, my friend and I are going on our first interrail trip this August and we cannot get our heads around the train timetables/reservations.

We are starting in the Netherlands and want to get a train from Amsterdam to Paris on the 6th August. We have found a train that would be perfect for us but it is Thalys - is this included with Interrail or will we have to pay extra?

I'm sorry if this is an obvious question or if similar questions have been asked before - we're just very confused!
