Have finally decided to take the plunge and interrail around Europe for the first time.... though the difficult bit is now deciding where to start and finish!
Have thought about the possibility of flying into Amsterdam and taking it from there...
Possible route I've come up with is Amsterdam - Germany - Eastern/Southern France - Barcelona - Italy - Croatia... has anyone done this route before? Am going to be travelling on a 1 month global pass and just wondering if it's do-able or a better route is out there? The other possibility I came up with was flying into Spain (Madrid) and then travelling up to Barcelona, then onto Southern France, Germany, Italy and Croatia and totally missing out Amsterdam.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!!! :)
Thanks!!!

Hi ...
If you have the time and the money, I would have a stay in Amsterdam ... just a good city to have fun, party and as well to relax a bit... :)
Think about (just my personal way I would do it):
Amsterdam - (Hamburg) - Berlin - (Krakow) - Vienna - Croatia ... then back via Ljubljana - Italy - Spain - France ...
By the way: Spain might become expensive with the supplements they have: https://rail.cc/en/interrail-train-reservation/spain/es
So maybe it is better to add Budapest or Bulgaria (Varna on the BlackSea) if you want to have a bit of cheap adventure instead of Spain ...
Peter :)
