Travel sheets...

Here in sweden the hostels don't automatically provide sheets, you can rent for a charge, but I*m a bit icky about someone elses sheets so I*m looking at these travelsheets, like sleepingbag inserts but for a regular bed. Has anyone tried these, how small can you get them? and how big is the slit on the side(s)? I don't want to trip myself rushing to bathroom in middle of the night :))

How much difference in size (folded up) is there between regular cotton sheet sets, travel sheets (all-in-one) vs regular but silk sheet sets? With sets I mean pillow case, sheets, and the sheet for the cover/blanket.
