Guys, I have some questions about free gift.

I've bought my Interrail-Pass on xxxxxx. But with my Pass I also received Information and Travel Planner. So, my questons are:
1) What for should I fill in all the trains in the travel planner? I understand, that I can need it, if I want receve a free gift from them, but what for do I need during my trip? And if, for example, i'm using S-Bahn in Berlin, should i write it down - from Berlin HbF to Berlin Ostbahnhof?
2) I'm coolecting different tickets, and Interrail-Pass could be a very important part of this collection like a memory. Is it possible to send them for receiving a free gift not the original ticket but it's copy with the travel planner? I mean, i'll use it and than make a copy of used ticket for them. Is it OK or do they need my original ticket?
3) And have somebody already received these gifts? Have somebody ordered Travel Planner and not USB-Stick? Is it interesting or just has blank pages?

... and here we have the problem ...
1) this free gift is nothing special - you get it everywhere where you buy an official InterRail ticket - as well here on the website
2) you bought your ticket somewhere else - so the best is also to ask there for information - as they sold you the ticket so they have to give you the service.
it is not fair to give someone else the money but wanting the service from someone else for free - that's why all the good service websites on the internet die - as persons only support big companies and not the ones who help.
sorry - I just had to say this.
but as we are nice here to your questions:
1) write in everything
2) only the original ticket - but is it really worth to get such a gift?! the gift is maybe worth 2-3 EUR for a big company they are.
3) .......... ;)

You have to write every train in, it's part of the rules of the IR ticket - however it depends on the country and the conductor if it's checked. In my experience the french train staff is most likely to control it and well, they don't really like it if it isn't completed properly. ;)

thanks for the information about travel planner. I just don't understand the point of this planner...
and as for the gift. yeah, I understand that this 256MB USB-Stick is useless, but this is just a nice thing with the IR logo...
