Looking to do a stop over day trip in Barcelos, to see the markets, on the way from Porto to Ponte de Lima. We will have our suitcases and want to store them for the day. Does the train or bus station offer luggage storage? or any other options? Thanks!

Markets all look very much same-same anywhere in PT. It doe s not really matter why you need to store.
But these Qs are mostly easiest and quickest answered by a normal google search=the same as you post here. I guess you have landed on this site as it still comes (too) high on listing for railways

I agree with above, I'll add a warning that suitcases are not a good idea if you don't have a car. Even those with little wheels that can just about manage the smooth floor of an airport with be a hassle on Portuguese cobbles. Use backpackes or holdalls with decent wheels at one end. Small Portuguese stations have few facilities beyond a ticket office and basic toilet.
