Is there a fast train running between Batumi and Kutaisi (Georgie)? If so, how often per day and how long is the journey?

Hi there! Yes, there is the train!
The places to buy tickets: tkt.ge and ticket.railway.ge ( terrible site, I prefer tkt ).
But these days Georgia is a bit overcrowded =) And it's hard to buy tickets, everything is sold out usually.

If you don't mind travelling by bus, check these two:
metrogeorgia.ge
georgianbus.com ( I prefer this one, but they travel to the airport, not the city center )
