I'm sure this has been asked before but I'd like to confirm, is getting a ferry ticket Patras-Ancona this easy;
I get off the train at Patras with no reservation or booking for the ferry, find the Superfast/Blueline sales office and say the next ferry 3 people for a deck ticket heres my rail pass theres the 25 ish Euro supplement, please and thank you?
I'd be grateful if somebody would just clear that up, thank you

yes it is that easy ... :)
And I never heard that someone did not get a place on deck. Just pay attention as sometimes the person at the ticket window want's to sell a cabin - but you do not need it - just a place on deck ... :)

Hi,
I want to book my ferry ticket prior to my arrival to Greece. However the online booking sytems of the companies either not working or I cannot apply the interrail discount, thus I e-mailed them to make a reservation and they replied saying we cannot, you should try calling our call center, so I called them but the personnel in the call center dont speak English and they simply hang up the phone.
Is there no way to book my ferry ticket instead of buying them in Athens without knowing prior if there is room for me? I need to be sure. Please help me out. Thanks.
