Hello,

I'm going alone to eastern europe (Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia), and I'm wondering on how am I going to spend the nights. One thing is, this is my first time and I don't intend to camp, furthermore, a tend would be a bit heavy to carry. So, isn't a bit expensive sped all nights in hostels? (else: does every hostels to be booked in advance, or we can just arrive and ask for a room?). Another alternative is to sleep at a train station, but is it safe?

Many thanks, Gonçalo

Its not that expensive (especially in Eastern Europe) to sleep in Hostels. Prices can start from less than €10 a night. Of course you can just turn up and see if there is room.

I wouldnt want to sleep in stations, partly for safety, but mainly because its just so damn uncomfortable!

OK, many thanks.

Is there any good/cheap hostels in these cities you can advise me?

Cheers

just look on [ux]https://rail.shop/hostelworld[/ux] + [ux]https://rail.shop/bookingcom[/ux] for ones with the highest ratings, they are normally a safe bet
