Hello!
I have big problems finding the real trains timetable for Italy! I read the topic about the site where any route can be checked so people can make plans about their trip - this is the routeplanner site. OK, i checked the routes I am plannind to make in Italy and then went to the official train webpage of Italy to confirm what routeplanner says. Well, there are some differences between these sites, which is really ambiguous and I cannot be sure about the schedule - for example some trains are available on the routeplanner but at trenitalia they don't show up! How can I plan my trip and book hostels in advance if I don't know when I can travel? Which is right?!!? Please help, I need advice!

Because of the (minor) timetable change on Sunday in a week the online train planners might not be fully updated yet - especially regarding connections in Italy.
Mostly you can rely on the current schedules, in June the changes are minor mostly.

Of which trains are you talking exactly?

Hm..When are these timetables supposed to be finally updated. it's really important! What confused me the most is a train from Rome to Bari which departs 07:35 a.m. according to RoutePlanner and is perfect for me because i must get to Bari in the afternoon (I'm travelling by ferry leaving from Bari at 20:00!). But according to TrenItalia (official site of trains in Italy) there is no such train in the morning, only trains in the afternoon - which is totally inconvenient for me :( which one am I supposed to believe??!

The journey from Roma to Bari is about 4h15 using ES Italia, thus it won't be a problem if you'd take a later train. However, the mentioned train at 0735 is most likely to still run after the timetable change, if surprisingly not there will be enough alternative connections getting you to Bari before 2000. :)
Anyway it's not predictable when the online information will be updated.
