Budapest - Beograd - Thessaloniki

Hi there,

I want to travel from Budapest to Thessaloniki via Beograd. I found a train that leaves Budapest late at night arrives early morning in Beograd and soon after leaves for Greece. My problem is that I need to know if I have to make a reservation and how much it will cost? Also I'm trying to calculate whether is worth booking tickets for individual trips or buying a global pass. Does anyone know the prices for this 2 trips if you have no pass?
